Scotland is well-known for its romance, beauty and historic visitor attractions. Some are still lived in while others are visitor attractions and others are ruins. Many are looked after by Historic Scotland or the National Trust for Scotland. Castles are probably top attraction with Edinburgh Castle the number one of the visitor attractions Scotland. But castles are not the only thing to visit in Scotland. Historically there is much on offer depending on your interests. Great for all the family and especially relevant if you are interested in tracing your family history. They are also perfect for education and fun for children. Makes visiting Scotland into an adventure.
